Finance and Spend Operations
Pearl connects Ramp to your calendar, email, and spreadsheets. It finds what your expenses still need, builds the spend reports you describe, and answers expense policy questions. It reads Ramp and never changes it.
Missing receipts and memos slow down the month-end close. A scheduled workflow finds your Ramp card transactions that still need a receipt, a memo, or an accounting code. It uses your calendar and email to work out what each purchase was for and suggests the memo.
Where you decide: Pearl lists what each charge still needs. You add the memo and the receipt in Ramp.
Describe the report you want, such as “software spend by department this quarter against last quarter.” Pearl pulls the Ramp transactions and reimbursements your Ramp role can see. It calculates the totals in code rather than estimating them and writes the result to a Google Sheet you can reuse every month.
Where you decide: Reading Ramp changes nothing there. By default, Pearl asks before it writes to your spreadsheet.
Ask whether a hotel fits your expense policy, or what a trip cost in total. Pearl reads your Ramp trips and bookings, and asks Ramp about your company’s expense policy, so the answer follows your own rules.
Where you decide: Ramp answers from your company’s policy, and nothing in Ramp changes.
